This is session 5 of a 6 session journey.
Satyananda Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a simple yet profound technique adapted by Swami Satyananda Saraswati from the traditional tantric practice of nyasa that develops wakeful dreaming.
It has been used for deep relaxation, in stress management and therapy, to enhance the learning process in education, to harmonize the deeper unconscious and awaken inner potential, and as a meditation technique. It is a systematic method of inducing complete mental, emotional and physical relaxation that is suitable for all.
This series was recorded live in Chalice Well Meeting Room, during weekly Yoga Nidra session. Chalice Well Gardens are on the edge of the famous town of Glastonbury, UK; nestled at the foot of Glastonbury Tor.
Each session is approximately 50 minutes in length.
The complete Yoga Nidra journey of six sessions is available as a set.
Julie also runs Yoga Nidra sessions a few times a year as part of her Zen Yoga classes.
